Alyacir is built as a daily worship companion, not just a prayer-times app: it brings prayer, Quran, Qibla, remembrance and dua together in one elegant dark interface. It favors accuracy and authenticity, a configurable astronomical times engine, a Quran text certified by the King Fahd Complex (مجمع الملك فهد), moon phases drawn from official NASA maps, and astronomical data verified against the US Naval Observatory and JPL Horizons.

The app is offline-first where possible: prayer times, Qibla, moon phases, Adhkar, the tasbih and the Quran text work with no internet, and Quran audio can be downloaded for offline listening. iCloud sync uses the user's private iCloud database, so personal records (reading log, tasbih, settings) stay on the device or in the user's own iCloud and can be disabled entirely. There is no required account and no profile-data tracking.

## Modules

- **Prayer times**: a fully configurable astronomical engine. Per-parameter control of Fajr and Isha angles or fixed intervals, the Asr method along two axes (juristic shadow factor and rounding), the rounding style, and optional altitude correction. Locally appropriate parameters can be suggested by country or set manually. Full monthly calendar in the Hijri Umm al-Qura calendar, exportable as PDF.
- **Athan alerts**: per-prayer notifications with selectable athan sounds and an in-app preview, plus a dedicated Friday Jumua alert that can fire up to 90 minutes before. Scheduling uses a sliding window managed within the operating system's 64-notification limit.
- **Qibla**: an accurate compass toward the Kaaba with distance, bearing and a clear alignment indicator with gentle haptic feedback on correct alignment; it also shows the real direction of the sun and moon, above or below the horizon.
- **Quran**: the complete KFGQPC Uthmani mushaf (King Fahd Complex), with 5 navigation partitions (surah, juz, hizb, rub and page), separate read and detail modes, certified translations in 5 languages plus an Arabic tafsir, and a personal reading log synced via iCloud.
- **Audio library**: recitations by more than 30 reciters, offline surah downloads, background playback with lock-screen and CarPlay integration, and a sleep timer from 5 to 180 minutes.
- **Moon phases**: a realistic lunar disc rendered live from official NASA maps (not stock images), an interactive timeline, and full astronomical data (illumination, rise and set, altitude, azimuth, distance) verified against the US Naval Observatory and JPL Horizons.
- **Adhkar and dua**: morning and evening Adhkar and selected supplications, in a clear, comfortable Arabic typeface, with translation and source, and long-press to copy any text.
- **Digital tasbih**: a one-tap counter with daily stats and a full log synced securely via iCloud.
- **Asma Allah al-Husna**: three compilations of the names of Allah with meaning and pronunciation, copyable. Plus the Shahada in Arabic with pronunciation and translation, recited with live, word-by-word text tracking.
- **Zakat calculator**: gold and silver nisab by carat, with the zakat amount computed on what you own, by the Hijri year (2.5%) or the Gregorian year (2.575%).
- **App Lock**: an optional 6-digit passcode stored on the device only.
