# Alyacir (اليسير)

> Free Islamic worship companion: native apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, plus a web app on this site. It brings together prayer times, the Noble Quran, Qibla, moon phases, the Islamic calendar, solar and lunar eclipses, the direction of the Sun and the Moon, duas and adhkar, tasbeeh, Zakat and audio recitations, with a strong focus on accuracy, authenticity of sources and privacy.

Key facts:

- Quran text and tafsir (Al-Muyassar) are certified by the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex. Three riwayat ship in the apps: Hafs 'an 'Asim (Kufic count, 6,236 ayat), Warsh 'an Nafi and Qaloun 'an Nafi (last Madani count, 6,214 ayat). Tafsir, transliteration and translations of the meanings follow the Kufic count and are available in Hafs only. The Hijri date follows the Umm al-Qura calendar.
- Duas and adhkar include only authentic narrations from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; no weak or fabricated narrations.
- Prayer times come from a configurable astronomical engine (methods by country, angles or fixed intervals, Asr method, rounding, altitude). Moon phases are rendered from NASA maps and verified against the US Naval Observatory and JPL Horizons.
- No account, no subscription, no paywalled features. Personal records stay on the device (optional iCloud sync on Apple). Web counters use browser localStorage only; nothing is sent to a server. Occasional ads on iPhone can be removed with a single optional purchase.
- Website language: French. Religious content is in Arabic with transliteration and translations in five languages (French, English, German, Portuguese, Spanish). Apps support six languages including full RTL Arabic.
- Prayer times, the Quran reader and moon phases on the web are planned for a future site version; they are available in the apps today (App Store on iPhone and iPad; Google Play, Android 8.1+).
